The journey for Sunnyside Golden Retrievers began in 1978 with McClung’s Golden Lady Molly.  Since then, Karen Smith and her daughter Megan McClung have trained, shown and put multiple titles on many Goldens and they have taught obedience privatly and for the local Golden Retriever Club for over 25 years.

Karen and Megan are approved evaluators for AKC Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R Puppy Programs and are both evaluators for Therapy Dogs International.

All of their dogs have been temperament tested and are registered Therapy Dogs.  They are very proud of the dogs that have been produced over the years.
